Attendees are empowered to ask questions during the presentation.

Gather the whole family for summer reading and kickoff featuring hands-on activities for kids and teens this Saturday, June 8th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Milwaukee Central Library. • Create a journal with the Betty Brinn Children's Museum. Participants can assemble, bind, and decorate their journals. • Customize a bookmark with Discovery World using laser-cut craft wood, beads, markers, tassels, and ribbons. Also, learn about how energy is all around us by interacting with a plasma globe. • Make soft sculptures with the Milwaukee Art Museum in several fun “summery” shapes. • Go on a Fossil Frenzy with the Milwaukee Public Museum! Participants will learn about fossilization and its importance in paleontology using real fossils from MPM. You’ll also be able to make a fossil with air-dry clay.
