Please join us in welcoming John Cook, EMT-P, as Memorial's new EMS Liaison. 👏 This role is a top priority for us as we work with our regional emergency medical partners to ensure together, we provide quality, compassionate care in the communities we serve. John brings 33 years of Fire and EMS experience to the role, 30 of which have been served in Union County. Most recently, he served as District Chief at Northwestern Fire District, and he retired as Lieutenant at Allen Township and Fire Chief at Leesburg Township. He is an EMS Continuing Education instructor, as well as an instructor for ACLS, BLS, and PALS, all of which will be utilized for outreach efforts. John is excited to take the baton and continue to develop fruitful collaboration. John resides in Marysville with his wife, Jennifer, and two daughters, Madison and Emma. With John’s knowledge, experience, and long-time dedication to our community, we are eager to have his influence on the Memorial team. Welcome, John! 🙌

Greg joins our team with nearly 13 years’ experience in Clinical Laboratory Management. He was tapped for this leadership role at Memorial based on his demonstrated history and expertise in the field of laboratory medicine. Welcome, Greg! 🤩 And, congratulations go out to Jennifer Myers, who has been promoted to Director of Registration & Central Scheduling. Jenn has been with Memorial for 11 years and has played a vital role as the manager of these two departments. In addition, she has assisted in rolling out EPIC, our electronic medical records (EMR) platform, as well as several best-in-class initiatives. Way to go, Jenn! 👏👏

Today, we are announcing Jacob Boucher, MD, has been tapped as Medical Director of Memorial Medical Group (MMG), our employed provider network. In this role, Dr. Boucher will be engaged in creating opportunities for the continued growth of our medical group that now includes 55 providers, more than 140 employees, and office locations throughout Marysville, Richwood, Plain City, and Urbana.
