Please join me in extending a warm welcome to David Alva, our new Real Estate Manager! 👋 David has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from University of San Diego. He comes to us with over 8 years of experience in Home Owner Association Management, mainly in Chula Vista with one Association in Alpine. David most recently was Community Manager where he not only played an active role in in facilitating meetings and negotiating management, but also assessed property performance, conducted facility/ground inspections, and coordinated construction projects. Along with his Real Estate License that he earned November of last year, David is also a Certified Community Association Manager (CCAM) and is certified in Real Estate finance Investments and Development. We look forward to working with you! Fun facts about David: He was born and raised in San Diego! He loves going to concerts for all kinds of music and most recently went to Coachella. David enjoys exploring new restaurants and breweries in the area and likes to occasionally wind down with a good show on TV – he’s a Game of Thrones fan! Say hello to Angela Smith!  👋 We're excited to welcome her to our team as Property Accountant.   Angela brings over 20 years of accounting experience, with more than a decade dedicated to commercial real estate accounting. Before joining our team, she managed the accounting for a diverse portfolio of 37 properties, including commercial, retail, industrial, and association properties. Additionally, Angela has worked as an accountant for HUD and apartment buildings across the country. Her areas of expertise include AP/AR, bank reconciliations, general ledger review, financial reporting, and budget vs. actual analysis. Angela is proficient in Yardi, QuickBooks, and the Microsoft Suite. Fun facts about Angela: She loves gardening! From fruit trees and squash to tomatoes, strawberries, and cucumbers, she’s a gardening pro. Over time, she has also learned how to can her produce and now has a substantial stock of canned tomatoes and pickles that will last for years. In addition to gardening, Angela enjoys sewing, particularly with quilts and clothing. Her most recent projects were potholders and hot pads. Angela also has a 12-year-old German Shepard named Marky. #welcomeaboard #commercialrealestate

Welcome, Kento Sahara! 👋 He is joining us as AP/AR. Kento has a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Waseda University. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of roles – Kento has experience working for BMW in sales planning, a tech startup as an Account Executive, and most recently, worked as a software test engineer at ContractPodAi. He has his sights on pursuing a graduate degree in accounting as well. Fun facts about Kento: He loves hiking and visiting the beach every weekend with his dog Kaiga. As for indoor hobbies, Succession is one of his favorite TV shows, and he also likes reading nonfiction books, especially on topics like business and urban design. Kento often cooks Japanese/Thai cuisine and also enjoys baking, his go-to recipe being cinnamon rolls.  We look forward to working with you! 😊 #welcomeaboard #commercialrealestate
