    We're hosting a hybrid CE on Wednesday, July 10 to discuss surgical oncology and management of soft tissue sarcomas and mast cell tumors. You have the option of learning virtually or joining us in person at WestVet Boise in Garden City, ID. Topics we'll cover: ▫️ Tips and Tricks of Surgical Oncology: Soft Tissue Sarcomas and Mast Cell Tumors Led by Dr. Katy Campbell West, this session will provide an overview of surgical oncology, primarily focusing on soft tissue sarcomas (STS) and mast cell tumors (MCT). This course will review pre-, intra-, and post-operative considerations. In addition, tips and tricks to aide in wound closure and healing of tissues will be presented. ▫️ Management of Cutaneous Mast Cell Tumors and Soft Tissue Sarcomas in Dogs Led by Dr. Kristine Walters, this session will review current management of canine cutaneous mast cell tumors (cMCTs) and soft tissue sarcomas (STS). This course will focus on diagnostic work-up and staging of cMCTs and STS, as well as therapeutic options including surgery, radiation therapy, electrochemotherapy, Stelfonta (for cMCTs) and chemotherapy.
