Dr. J.B. Phillips of MRDC's Combat Casualty Care Research Program emphasizes the need for early TBI diagnosis at the point of injury, a critical step in improving outcomes for our Warfighters. Through our unique consortium model and Other Transaction Agreements (OTA), MTEC has dedicated $171 million to brain health research, including TBI detection and PTSD management. Dr. Green, with his extensive experience in biomedical research and a robust background in life sciences, is poised to lead MTEC into its next phase of growth and innovation. Joining Dr. Green are: • Ret. CDR. Christopher Steele, PhD as Chief of Strategy and Business Development. Dr. Steele brings over 34 years of distinguished service in the Army and Navy, with a wealth of R&D experience. • Ret. COL. Stuart Tyner, PhD as Senior Advisor. Dr. Tyner has 22 years of Army service and has held significant leadership roles in infectious diseases research and combat casualty care.
