Kudos to our partners at the Ragon Institute of Mass General, MIT, and Harvard which recently celebrated the official opening of its new headquarters in Cambridge. The new building will support the Institute’s research to harness the power of the human immune system to prevent and cure disease. It continues to be a privilege to partner on and support the Ragon Institute Summer Experience (RISE) internship program which engages high school and undergraduate students underrepresented in medical research who are interested in learning about immunology and related fields. The Mass Leads Act aims to strengthen Massachusetts’ global leadership and expand opportunity in our state now and for a generation to come. Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives (MBI), a key anchor to Central Massachusetts and the entire Commonwealth's life sciences ecosystem, has been supported by the MLSC enabling MBI to triple the capacity of the incubator’s facility, expand its workforce programming, and advance its cluster building activities. The next iteration of the Life Sciences Initiative can help ensure the benefits of the life sciences continue to be shared across Massachusetts. #WhyMassLeads #WhyLifeSciences
