In this week's #FocusForwardWisdom, we share an important development in campaign benchmarking. Marts&Lundy has partnered with CASE to establish CASE Insights on Campaigns, a repository of critical data-driven insights that will further our shared understanding of campaign best practices and evolving trends. The CASE Insights on Campaigns survey will collect data comprising goals, staffing and fundraising results. The survey will also capture how events such as institutional leadership changes and socioeconomic factors affected campaign timelines and cadence. If you are in the #education sector and your institution has completed a comprehensive campaign within the last five years, please take a few moments to submit a Survey Interest Form, and a CASE Insights team member will email you when the survey opens in September. Survey Interest Form: https://lnkd.in/eSmE6r4C Learn more about CASE Insights on Campaigns here: https://lnkd.in/ekrP_Q2H We are pleased to be CASE’s partner in this important project, and it is our hope that your institution will participate in this shared resource. #caseinsights #highereducation #schools #campaigns

Yesterday, we wrapped up the first offering of our micro-credential course, "An Anti-Racist Journey in Fundraising," in partnership with Marts&Lundy! We are incredibly proud of the introspection and growth showed by all of our students! Rachael Rail, Associate Director of Development for the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University, shared the following testimonial of her experience in the course: "The insights I’ve gained through this course are invaluable. Specifically, the information about bias data collection has made me really stop and think about the information we are using and how that could be excluding a large, diverse group of people. This course has really pulled back the curtain on systemic racism and has allowed me to view the systems, policies and procedures in place, both nationally and within my organizations, through a new lens and with fresh eyes. As a white woman, I have been able to take a deeper look at my own complicity and start to untangle my own fear of making mistakes from the responsibility to advocate and speak out against racism and prejudice. I highly recommend this course for anyone working in the philanthropic space, but also as part of my own personal anti-racist work, this has been a truly necessary and instrumental part of my process." Thank you, Rachael, for the commitment you have made to anti-racist work and inclusive philanthropy! Interested in signing up for the next session of "An Anti-Racist Journey in Fundraising"? Registration opens July 15.
