We just wrapped up an inspiring site visit to a Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqey #kelp #aquaculture project in Gaspésie! Witnessing the dedication and ingenuity of the First Nations in cultivating sustainable seaweed was truly remarkable. The growth of the aquaculture sector, particularly in Canada, is phenomenal. Around the globe, innovative projects like this are leading the way in sustainable seafood production and marine ecosystem health.
