In January 2024, the UK government extended the recognition of European CE markings on medical and in-vitro medical devices by further postponing the mandatory implementation of UKCA markings.   Since January 1, 2021, both CE and UKCA markings have been recognized, providing businesses additional time to comply. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) will continue to accept CE markings during this transition, based on device type.   The MHRA proposes recognizing medical device approvals from international regulators, including those in Australia, Canada, the EU, and the US. This week, we celebrated Marken’s Grand Opening of our state-of-the-art Center of Excellence depot facility in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
