Congratulations to North – Maple Grove Hospital’s most recent DAISY Award winner, Kristine Koppin. Kristine is a registered nurse who was nominated by one of her patients for her “skill, compassion, and true heart”. The patient, who was admitted to the hospital for the first time their life, had to have emergency gallbladder surgery. During their five-day stay, Kristine ensured the patient was well taken care of, and the patient noted that having Kristine in her room every day was “beyond comforting”.
