Maha Festival

In a unanimous decision focused on sustainability and growth, the Maha Board of Directors is announcing that the festival will not be held this year. Instead, organizers are taking 2024 to rework the festival’s operating model (taking into account industry-wide increases in festival costs) and making plans to return in 2025. This period of recalibration is a strategic step toward ensuring Maha’s vibrant future.  Over the course of 15 festivals, Maha brought people together from all over Omaha, the Midwest, and all 50 states- thanks to the support of our community of volunteers, sponsors, contributors, and attendees.A heartfelt thank you to everyone vwho has been part of our journey. As we plan our next chapter, we remain committed to Maha’s long-term success, ensuring it continues its contributions to  Omaha’s economy and cultural landscape.
