The Electric Solution
About us
Our vision is to be the world's most trusted electric solutions company. We are revolutionizing how the world connects by transforming how aircraft are powered. magniX is enabling a new era of aviation with powerful, efficient, all-electric propulsion units (EPUs) and is one of the only companies that has proven its technology in flight. We powered the first all-electric seaplane with the flight of Harbour Air’s eBeaver, and electrified a Cessna Grand Caravan. We have signed numerous deals with industry leading organizations including NASA, Surf Air, Flapper, Tier 1 (for Lung Biotechnology) and more. NASA awarded magniX $74.3 million in 2021 to rapidly advance Electrified Aircraft Propulsion (EAP) technologies through ground and flight-testing demonstrations over five years. As part of this NASA Electrified Powertrain Flight Demonstration (EPFD) project, we’re working with AeroTEC and Air Tindi to accelerate electric flight technologies for commercial aviation. magniX is on the leading edge of innovation. Fast Company recognized magniX as the Most Innovative Company in Energy, and we were the recipient of the Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Leadership Award. We credit our values as the driving force behind our accomplishments. We are a team with a family spirit, we are all in all the time, we do the right thing even when it's hard, and we are curious, transparent and consistent. magniX has a strong and inclusive culture, marked by the spirit of our people and the community we form together. We are taking our technology and products to market, and are looking for passionate team members to help us usher in a new era of aviation.

Great to be a part of this celebration of innovation! #Osh24 #sustainableaviation
The Harbour Air eBeaver team with our partners at magniX were honoured to attend Innovations Day at Boeing Plaza on day two of EAA AirVenture! A day celebrating the innovation and technology in the aviation industry with aircraft displays, flight demonstrations, and informational discussions. Our eBeaver was proudly showcased recognizing the hard work and dedication that the eBeaver team, Harbour Air Aerospace Services, and magniX has made over the past four years since the inaugural flight in December 2019. Thank you to everyone who our team had a chance to connect with and thank you EAA for the privilege to attend at Boeing Plaza! Catch our eBeaver and teams at booth #324 for the rest of the week. #AirVenture #eaa #InnovationsDay #BoeingPlaza #OSH24

Great to hear Harbour Air’s Erika Holtz, PEng, DAR perspectives on "Near-Term Electric Aircraft" on a panel at the Electric Aircraft Symposium at Oshkosh. Harbour Air has signed an LOI for 50 of our magni650 electric engines to convert their seaplane fleet, as well as for third-party conversions. It's terrific to see our partnership leading the way in promoting the many benefits of flying electric #OSH24

Congratulations to magniX’s Sara Roggia on winning the prestigious Nagamori Award. The awards were created to honor achievements in the technological research of motors and related fields, such as generators and actuators, and to support engineers in their pursuit of excellence. Sara leads our magniDrive product, our industry leading inverter and a key component of our full electric powertrain. The 10th Nagamori Awards commendation ceremony will be held in September, with one of this year’s winners being awarded the Grand Nagamori Award. Good luck to Sara! #sustainableaviation #aviation #engineering
