Lutheran Community at Telford

Today is #NationalInternDay and, sadly, we also happen to be saying #goodbye to ours! Morgan Godfrey has served our community and Grace Inspired Living as Marketing & Communications #Intern over the past six weeks. She is about to enter her #thirdyear at the University of South Carolina (UofSC), pursuing a Bachelor's degree in #Marketing, and is also in the #HonorsCollege. Many of our #socialmedia posts throughout June and July have been partly or fully written by Morgan, and she has also helped with our #blog articles, resident #newsletters, #eventcoordination, and more. She is projected to #graduate from UofSC in December of 2025, and we wish her the best during the remainder of her time there and in her future #career! Today, our #employees were offered an invaluable #opportunity for both personal #growth and #professionaldevelopment. Renowned #motivationalspeaker Christopher Ridenhour, GFN was on campus, #empowering staff with part one of three of his training course: “We Are All #Gifted.” Our sister community The Community at Rockhill had a visit from Chris back in May. In both sessions, team members learned practical tools to enhance their #customerservice skills even further, elevate #teamwork and interdepartmental #collaboration, and continue to foster a positive organizational #culture. (And pssst! We think they might have had a little fun, too. 🤫) Chris will be back sometime in the fall to continue with the next phase of this course. All of these #insights will positively strengthen the Grace Inspired Living family and ultimately help us to better serve our #residents!

Today, we recognize the efforts of the #chefs on our in-house #CulinaryTeam, whose #cuisine puts #smiles on our residents’ faces day after day. Gathered below is some of the wonderful #feedback we’ve received from #residents and their families recently, and that’s just online! We wish this #team a Happy #InternationalChefsDay and thank them for all that they do. Our #community would not be the same without our talented in-house #culinary team! Every day, they work hard to provide delicious, #nutritious meals for our #residents ✨ On top of their daily duties, this amazing team plans and hosts specially themed #meals a few times per month! In honor of July being #NationalCulinaryArtsMonth, we would like to give a special shout out to all of our talented #artisans on the culinary team. An escape to the great #outdoors! Our #residents had an exhilarating visit this week to Grounds For Sculpture in Mercerville, NJ. This #sculpturegarden and #museum originally opened to the public in 1992 and has almost 300 #contemporary sculptures! Fresh air, stunning views and creative #masterpieces made for a wonderful day. #finearts

Full "house" at last night's #performance of the Quakertown Band at Lutheran Community at Telford. This group is 45+ members strong, with an origin dating back to the late 1800s! The #Band is known across our region for performing both historic and #contemporarymusic. Their program includes overtures, Broadway and movie show tunes, big band, swing, Dixieland jazz and marches. #orchestra

#Summer is here! ☀😎⛱ As we step into the first day of the warmest season, we're reminded of the joy and #leisure that comes with slowing down and savoring each moment. Let's all take this time to relax, recharge and reconnect with one another.
