Refugee children often face significant challenges, including cultural adjustment, language barriers, and psychological trauma, especially in their first months of resettlement. To support their empowerment, we've launched art workshops that provide a safe space for creativity, skill-building, and community. These classes offer refugee children aged 8-12 the chance to explore various art forms, learn new techniques, and express themselves meaningfully to explore their creativity and connect with others. Arlington Chorale Performers with Purpose group put on a benefit recital in support of LSSNCA. With the funds raised, we were able to purchase new kitchenware items like cooking sets, silverware, and dishware sets that will help more than 45 program participant families as they resettle into their new homes here in the DMV. #Community #ThankYou #WorkOfWelcome #Resilient
