I wrote a picture book! I’ve always wanted to inspire young kids to write letters. It’s a simple gesture that I’ve seen change lives through my nonprofit work at Love For Our Elders — it helps people of all ages express themselves, practice gratitude, and deliver joy, and I think the world needs more of it. So, I wrote Grandma’s Letter Exchange to invite little ones to write their first letter, while telling a fun story and modeling how to write and address a card. Thank you to my friends, family, and the Love For Our Elders volunteers who have supported the book. I am tremendously grateful. And thank you to Angelika Scudamore, my illustrator, for our many months of brainstorming, collaboration, and revisions. I’m so proud of how we brought our vision to life.
