A new feature dropped today! Thank you to Cllct for discussing what makes Collector-to-Collector (aka instant liquidity) so important to buyers.

Today Loupe is excited to announce Collector-to-Collector (C2C) Sales! https://lnkd.in/e_iaiTKJ C2C allows for instant liquidity from cards collectors pulled on Loupe that they don’t plan on keeping. It eliminates all the hassle and risk of selling cards. Other platforms can take upward of two weeks to finalize sales. With C2C, the seller immediately receives the balance from their sale in their Loupe wallet. The streaming shop mails the card directly to the final buyer (or can offer additional services like grading). The whole transaction can take less than one minute. No fluctuations of value while you're waiting for the package, no shipping, and no fear of whether you'll be paid or not. For the end buyer, they can trust that the card will be shipped quickly and professionally from one of our shops with full tracking info provided. This patent-pending feature is just the first step toward our vision of streamlining and evolving the collecting experience. We’re thrilled to finally show the world what we’ve been working on because we believe it’s a huge value-add for collectors. And we’re proud to say that you’ll only find it on Loupe. This is just the first in a wave of new features that aim to differentiate Loupe from other marketplaces. #sportscards #thehobby #collectibles #livecommerce #miamitech #ecommerce

Changes, big and small, coming to Loupe. The team is already working on one of many new features coming to the platform this year.

Next week Loupe will release our first major change to the live viewer experience since we launched. It will land on iOS first and then Android in the coming weeks. These visual updates are all building into our biggest feature yet that will be a major differentiator in the market. Our focus has always been on purposeful simplicity, so interacting with our tech fades into the background behind the community engagement and excitement of collecting. Along with these efforts, I'm proud to report that March set new monthly records (again!) for Return Buyers, Transactions, and more. We feel strongly that if you treat both shops and collectors with respect, that gained trust will be the key reason people choose to spend their time and money with you over other options in the market. That continues to ring true as we quickly approach a huge milestone. As always, we can't wait to show you what's next as Loupe continues to evolve in 2024. #sportscards #livecommerce #miamitech #startup

Can you believe that it's been four years?!

This week we celebrate four incredible years of Loupe. As if the level of uncertainty around the beginning of a global pandemic wasn't enough, I quit my previous job in early 2020 to create my first startup. Living in LA at the time, I had asked Patrick McCarron to help get a simple Testflight app out in the summer to prove that a live commerce platform would work for sports cards and collectibles. Here we are four years later, now based in Miami, two fundraising rounds under our belt (with community ownership!), 9-figures in sales, and year-over-year growth. Year four is going to be extremely fun as we are already working on our most ambitious roadmap to date. 2024 will be a major shift for Loupe as we introduce features never seen before in a live commerce platform. It's been a rollercoaster ride, but I'm excited to keep it going while pushing Loupe to new levels for our community of shops and collectors. #miamitech #startup #sportscards #livecommerce

Exciting news from the Loupe community! We've set a new record for weekly transactions for the *fifth* consecutive week. This ongoing streak of success speaks volumes about the strength of our platform and roster of trusted shops. What's particularly encouraging is the sales performance our new shops are experiencing. They're not just meeting expectations; they're surpassing them, with sales that outshine those they've achieved on other platforms. It's incredibly rewarding to see our efforts reflected in the achievements of our community of shops. #sportscards #thehobby #ecommerce #collectibles

It's been a *very* good month at Loupe

We're coming up on four years since quitting my job to start Loupe and I can't think of a better way to celebrate the anniversary than setting new records. In January our team reached new monthly highs for... - Return Buyers - Total Buyers - Monthly Transactions Yes, shops on Loupe sold more in January than any other month in our three years of being open for business. We also set new records for DAU and WAU, while converting over a third of new registrations to buyers. New buyer acquisition is the highest its been in 6+ months with a declining CAC. Daily first time downloads has increased 100% since Q4. Daily watch time has increased as much as 25% due to some great quality of life updates made by our team. And AJ Dillon of the Green Bay Packers made his much anticipated return to Loupe! One of the biggest KPI standouts lately has been in iOS Benchmarks against other free apps in our category. We've recently been _crushing_ the 75th Percentile in D1, D7, and D28 retention. It's been a fun month for our team as we look ahead at executing a ton of new initiatives and releasing new features for both our curated roster of sellers and our amazing community of collectors. We can't wait to show you what's next.

Thank you to everyone that stopped by Loupe HQ during Art Basel!

View profile for Eric Doty, graphic

Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting "Hobby Basel" at Loupe's flagship store in Miami. While our team's primary focus is the live commerce platform that empowers hobby shops across the U.S., this retail shop provides valuable insights into the day-to-day operation of a brick and mortar. It's also, as seen in the photos, an incredible space to host events (including Pokemon-themed birthday parties). Grateful for all the Miami locals and Art Basel visitors who took the time to stop to say hello throughout the night. #miami #miamitech #artbaselmiami #startup #sportscards

Loupe Auction v2 is LIVE including cross-platform support for desktop!

View profile for Eric Doty, graphic

Founder of Loupe, a new marketplace for sports fans.

Over the past year, auctions have rapidly become more popular on Loupe as a way for shops to quickly sell single sports cards. Our main goal as a live commerce platform is to enable businesses to run as fast as possible, so our engineering team has been working hard to enhance the current auction experience. Today, we’re proud to announce the release of Loupe’s refreshed auction tool. In today's cross-platform release: - Adds auction support to desktop browsers. Now, all three platforms (iOS, Android, and web) have feature parity. - Introduces “Sudden Death” auctions. Previously, Loupe only supported “popcorn” auctions, meaning each additional bid extended the timer. With Sudden Death auctions, there is time limit to get your bid in, so sellers can run more auctions in a given window of time. - Allows shops to input / edit auction listings from a desktop environment. A few weeks ago, we launched a revamped web inventory management tool for sellers. Starting today, shops can list and edit auctions from their desktop PC, which gives them much more control over their inventory. - Refines the auction experience. Along with the expanded functionality we've also polished and added to the existing UI elements to better communicate auction results to consumers. We’re celebrating this launch by scheduling auctions all night on Wednesday with OPC Baseball. Following that will be a full day of auctions on Thursday from 11am through Midnight with various Loupe shops. Next up on our queue are new systems that will save sellers time and money or even offer them new revenue channels. Exciting things to come in 2024. #ecommerce #livecommerce #sportscards #miamitech

This week brings one of the biggest, and most anticipated, updates in the entire history of our company.

View profile for Eric Doty, graphic

Founder of Loupe, a new marketplace for sports fans.

The Loupe team is thrilled to announce the official launch of our desktop-based inventory management tool. For the past three years, card shops have utilized the Loupe mobile app for live broadcasts, community engagement, and product management. The app made it remarkably simple for shops — especially those new to live streaming — to embrace a novel way of selling: Live commerce. However, as our platform has grown, we've seen shops listing their entire inventories to meet increasing demand, generating millions in sales through their phones. With the introduction of our new desktop-based solution, stream hosts and their teams can seamlessly add or update inventory on the fly, with changes instantly visible to viewers. Moreover, they can efficiently create and modify upcoming streams, even while live on the app. At Loupe, our primary objective has always been to provide businesses with a platform where they can skyrocket from $0 to millions in sales within a year while dedicating the majority of their time to engaging with their customers, rather than getting bogged down by administrative tasks. We have an exciting update on the horizon: A refreshed version of our auction tool is coming very soon! But that's just the beginning; we're committed to an ongoing series of updates that will not only enhance efficiency, but also deliver significant cost savings for our valued shops. Stay tuned for more exciting developments. And on a final note, we recently added some new shop partners to our platform this month. Their immediate investment into Loupe has already yielded remarkable results. One of our partners achieved their highest single-day sales record on Loupe in their very first day, surpassing their previous achievements on other platforms. We hope to continue to surprise and delight businesses who want to expand and try something new. (This photo was one of the first "official" images I ever made to show off the simplicity of our platform. What a long road it's been.) #startup #livecommerce #miami #miamitech #sportscards
