The Louisiana Workforce Commission is an agency of state government that administers programs designed to enhance workforce growth and provide family-sustaining jobs for Louisiana residents. The commission monitors employment, administers unemployment compensation and tax funds, provides training resources for employers and employees and oversees worker compensation benefits. The agency also gathers and supplies information on the labor market and occupational sectors in Louisiana.

Amazon has begun posting jobs for the facility in Baton Rouge. They will be hiring for more than 1,000 full-time roles and positions, which will be posted on a rolling basis for the next several weeks after 7pm on Friday’s. To apply, visit https://lnkd.in/gqeSAnyw and search by zip code. New positions will be available regularly. Interested applicants will be notified when new positions are available by completing a profile and signing up for text alerts via the QR code. Additional Information: • Prospective applicants must wait until the jobs post which is as early as Friday evenings at 7pm • Applicants must select from the first shift that they want to work • Once selecting the shift, complete the application • Complete the hiring process with the instructions Amazon provides • If there are no shifts available, prospective applicants can go to the Amazon portal and sign up for job alert notifications. • Jobs are only visible if there are shifts available once the jobs are posted. • If you are experiencing difficulties viewing the job postings, switch from a mobile device to a desktop/laptop and keep refreshing the page every 15 minutes.
