You'd be hard-pressed to find an experienced child care provider who doesn’t believe in the power of play. Playing is learning. Playing is connecting. Playing is more than fun—it’s essential for healthy development. But let’s be real—too often, the joy of teaching gets buried by manual-mandated compliance tracking on devices and notepads. That's where we help. Logatot—Voice Command for Careers in Care—helps providers #usetheirvoice to get out from underneath manual data entry and get back to what truly matters: doing what they love and helping our kids thrive. Want to see how it works? Request a demo, and let’s see (and hear) how we can help your career in care.

Child care providers are highly skilled multitaskers, planners, and producers. They are truly operational experts. The sheer volume of tasks, regulations, and communications that child care providers are required to track and manage throughout the day can be overwhelming. If you've ever been tasked with successfully getting one toddler fed, changed, sunscreened, dressed, and out the door (now multiply that effort by five or six and record the time and components of each task), you begin to understand why care providers and early educators report the highest levels of job-related stress. Logatot's practical, plain-language voice command technology is a lifeline, freeing providers from the weight of compliance and enabling them to concentrate on their core mission: helping our children #thrive. See how each Logatot makes speaking every day required compliance tracking so much easier. (#soundon 📣) We can't wait to show you how Logatot is working to make careers in care more sustainable, desirable, and profitable. Last week, nearly 1,200 Family Child Care Providers gathered for The National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) Annual Conference. Their focus this year was how to help each other, the children in their care, and the communities they serve #thrive. In the field of early education, tracking the minutes and hours that providers invest in the quality of their programs outside of their operating hours can directly impact their annual earnings. Imagine a simple and trusted tool that could provide a comprehensive view of ALL the minutes and hours that Family Child Care Providers invest in delivering high-quality care. This is the power of tracking Provider & Employee Time. Provider Time is time providers dedicate to successfully managing their programs and businesses outside of hours directly caring for children. Employee Time is the time when providers (and their staff) are directly caring for children. In this 90-second video, you can see (and hear) how Logatot helps providers track all essential time and tasks with a few simple voice commands. See (and hear) more about how Logatot helps providers save more time, earn more money, and remain focused on what matters most: the children in their care. As a tech company dedicated to making careers in child care more desirable, sustainable, and profitable, we value research done on behalf of all providers. Thank you, Center for the Study of Child Care Employment, UC Berkeley. The data is clear: helping working families starts with investments in job quality and day-to-day improvement for all those who dedicate their careers to teaching and caring for our youngest (and often most vulnerable) children. https://lnkd.in/dT-bf6ZN #useyourvoice #supportchildcareproviders #allproviders #familychildcare #centerchildcare #nonprofitcare #forprofitcare #weareeachothersvillage
Why the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Should Include For-Profit ECE: CSCCE recently responded to the U.S. Department of Education's RFI regarding the potential expansion of the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF) eligibility to the early childhood education workforce, particularly for-profit entities and providers. This recommendation is essential: To ensure that the responsibility of establishing eligibility does not rest on individual educators. Instead, federal, state, and/or local systems should find ways to make it easy for all eligible educators to access and process their applications. https://lnkd.in/gBAPtS3E

A Critical Look at American Child Care: The 30% Challenge On average, in the U.S., the demand for child care exceeds the available spaces by a staggering 30%. What's more, some families are forced to allocate up to 30% of their household income to secure care. These figures underscore a pressing issue: the current state of child care is not sustainable and requires immediate attention. Where do we start? Economic and education experts agree that investing in child care careers is the solution. We're facing a dual challenge: many experienced providers are nearing retirement, while too few new professionals are entering the field. The demands of this essential work far too often come at significant health and financial costs to those providing care. Earlier this summer, leaders from nearly every sector gathered in Washington, D.C., to address this crisis at the first #NationalChildCareInnovationSummit, and the First Five Years Fund has distilled insights into key themes. https://lnkd.in/eNZ44qpb Take a look and consider how you can help. Together, we can change child care for good. #useyourvoice for the changes that will support our child care providers and ensure our children's stable, thriving future. #SustainableCare #InvestInCare #SupportProviders #BetterTogether #MotivationalMonday

If you want a tactical, practical way to immediately help those who dedicate their careers to taking care of our youngest and often most vulnerable children, here you go: Tag two Massachusetts contacts in this post's comments (Massachusetts Executive Office of Education, Early Education Leaders, an Institute at UMass Boston, Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, Neighborhood Villages). Right now, ALL Licensed Massachusetts Family Child Care providers in good standing can qualify for a $25,000 grant to make space improvements to the homes their programs run in. The deadline to submit the first (simple and easy) grant application is August 16. Here is the direct application link for Massachusetts Family Care Providers: https://lnkd.in/dj-ijfgT. For a few of our Massachusetts contacts: Amanda Goodwin, MFA, Danielle Calnan Morassi, M.Ed., Tucker Olen, Alina Ritter, CBPA, Pardees Safizadeh - can you start by tagging two Massachusetts contacts in the comments below? Our executive team spoke with California Family Care Providers last week, who talked about the EASE of securing similar grants on the West Coast. Any Massachusetts Family Care Provider who is struggling to apply is welcome to contact us through the contact form on our website or by DMing us here. We'll find a way to help. Let's #worktogether together to ensure every dollar budgeted for this grant gets into the hands of Massachusetts Family Care Providers who need and deserve this support. If you have insights, news, or needs for similar grants in other states, please let us know. We'll continue to #useourvoice to help in any way we can.

Every child care provider understands the profound value of great illustration. Visual aids are universally beneficial, aiding humans of all ages to understand just about anything and everything our world has to offer. 🌍 Sometimes, as over-scheduled, stressed, responsible, and yes, even over-stimulated adults, we can lose sight of simple, useful, and universal truths...that nearly all of us strive to practice and share with the kiddos in our lives. Good News: we can always come back, reset, relearn, and go again. Thank you, Wisdom Made Easy, for the brilliant, simple, and beautiful reminders. Do any of these visuals remind you of something essential today?

Here's some amazing #MondayMotivation: Caring for toddlers is physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding. Keeping up with these young ones on the go is exceptionally challenging. Toddler care is almost some of the most in-demand across the country. Neighborhood Villages and The LEGO Foundation continue to make significant contributions to early education. Including their complete toddler curriculum, which is now available to all child care providers at no cost. The curriculum was built with a number of critical contributors from across the field, including: Barbara Rosenquest, Debbie LeeKeenan, Edna Cabral, Kim Lee Ripley, Lisa Kuh, Marina Boni, Melissa Rivard, Saameh Solaimani, Stacy Normand-Linan, LICSW, Vicki Milstein All providers (families, centers, programs, and individuals) can now access this fully developed, read-to-use curriculum by filling out a simple Google form: https://lnkd.in/dabubD9D This play-based curriculum includes book lists, games, themes, and activities. Please share (and use!) widely. #useyourvoice #investinchildcare #investinchildcareproviders
