It is bittersweet to share the news of Sherif Guirguis' upcoming retirement. After a distinguished 40-year career, serving and leading in the hospitality industry, with the last two and a half years as our Chief Operating Officer at Lodging Dynamics, Sherif will be retiring, his last day being August 15th. Throughout his admirable journey, Sherif was known for driving results, growing others, and forging lasting partnerships and friendships during his time at Marriott International, White Lodging, Silverwest Hotels, and most recently at Lodging Dynamics. Sherif's leadership has been instrumental to our success at Lodging Dynamics where he played a pivotal role in cultivating our standards of excellence. His strategic vision and commitment to excellence have driven us forward and positioned us for continued growth. Sherif is a true “Hotelier at Heart”, an example to all of us within the Lodging Dynamics community and throughout the industry loved by so many. I have personally known Sherif just shy of 20 years and feel blessed to have called him my business partner and friend. He has forever left an imprint on me and so many others, a true man of excellence, integrity, compassion, and unmatched work ethic. As Sherif looks forward to his retirement, he is eager to spend more time with his family, his wife Tracey, and their dog Lilly. I always said if I could get Sherif to spend more quality time with his family, then we would truly be winning. Please join me in celebrating Sherif's remarkable career and his invaluable contributions to our company and the industry. We couldn’t be more excited and happier for Sherif to step into this next chapter. Congratulations and thank you, Sherif, for your dedication, care, unwavering leadership, and heart---you will be missed! We wish you nothing but the very best in your upcoming retirement.
