At this morning's Board Meeting, the Livonia-Westland Chamber of Commerce was honored to congratulate and award scholarships to 18 local high school seniors (15 pictured). Congratulations to all of our 2024 recipients: Tino Acosta, Chase Adams, Aubree Allie, Colin Anderson, Derek Buchanan, Justice Cato, Connor Curtis, Jordan Davis, Jacob Koziel, Pradham Kuchipudi, Katie Meyer, Aryan Patel, Kaari Peecher, Jaden Reji, Lydia Rowe, Gracie Shahu, Kaylie Sheppard and Ava Whell. The City of Livonia recently held its ground breaking ceremony for the new Livonia Senior Wellness Center that will be built on to the Livonia Recreation Center. This project also includes an upgrade and renovation to the recreation center. Our president Dan West sat down with Livonia's Mayor Brosnan to learn more about this project as well as the future plans for the Livonia Civic Campus and the Livonia Community. The panel discussed a variety of topics that affect our local schools, students and teachers.
