Our first Corda Volunteer Spotlight is shining on our very own President and CEO, Paula O'Rourke. When asked why Paula dedicates her time to the Alzheimer's Association Iowa Chapter, she said: "I’ve seen too many loved ones affected by those personally living with dementia and other loved ones caring for those with dementia. For me, it is giving hope to those living day-to-day, over time losing memories of who they are, forgetting they forget, and then hoping someday they will smile with the twinkle that tells me they remember, even if for a brief moment."
