🚶♂️🚌 Recently, individuals from the Lifesteps Transition Program - The Next Step, had an exciting adventure learning about safety and public transportation! 🌟 What better place to go than downtown Pittsburgh for the #pickleburgh2024 festivities. Their adventure began at the Science Center parking lot, then they hopped on the T to Gateway Center and strolled over to Market Square. Our dedicated staff emphasized the importance of staying with the group in crowded places and how to make purchases at a fair. Participants were tasked with remembering the name of the starting station and identifying landmarks to navigate their way back to the vans. 🗺️🚏 And of course, we couldn’t miss out on all things Pickle! 🥒 They all gave pickle lemonade a try—except for one individual who just wasn’t a fan of pickles. If you have a strong desire to help others and serve the community, this is the right opportunity for you. Lifesteps is headquartered in Butler Pennsylvania, with facilities throughout Western PA.                                                     Position Summary: The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will hold the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at our Not-for-Profit agency.  This full-time position reports to the Chief Operating Officer, while serving as a financial liaison to the Corporate Board of Directors, funding sources, and financial institutions. The CPA / CFO manages the financial resources for the organization including accounting, finance, organization-wide budgets, audits, investments, and treasury in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. The CFO provides oversight of funding, contracts, policies/procedures, and safeguards assets through the maintenance of proper internal controls. The CFO will possess a strong background in overall financial management and strategic fiscal leadership skills.    Duties include all facets of fiscal management and oversight, including but not limited to: Audits Budgeting Contracts Cash Flow/Management Forecasting Strategic Analysis Cost Allocations Internal Controls Accounting – AP, AR and Monthly Close General Ledger Investments Financial Statements Supervising Controller, Director of Fiscal Management and respective Accounting Departments Management of applicable tax reporting   Minimum Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant license (CPA) Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Business, or a related field  10 years of current experience Experience in Managed Care, non-profit/cost accounting, and federal funding is preferred.     Generous benefit package for full-time employment includes 100% agency paid medical, dental and vision insurance premiums; Paid vacation, sick time and personal/emergency time; short & long-term disability insurance; Tuition reimbursement; 403B Retirement Plan; Life Insurance and 12 paid holidays.   Request more information at https://lnkd.in/eMdCdtGX
