Lets Make A Difference

Over the many years of working with amazing local charities, we came to realise that many charities struggle with insufficient council housing.  And then when they approach private landlords, the housing benefit won’t cover the rent for the property, or the landlord just doesn’t want to have potential “troublesome” tenants because they can pick and choose tenants. There are housing associations that deal with local authorities who allocate homes depending on where the individual has been placed on the 'list'.   We realised there was a real need to bridge the gap. We specifically wanted to work with the charities to rehome their service users, whether they be homeless, escaping from an abusive relationship, ex-offenders, ex-addicts, or just people who have fallen on hard times. Everyone deserves a roof over their head and a chance.

Homelessness affects countless lives, and there are so many causes: 🏘️ Lack of Affordable Quality Housing: A basic shortage of social housing drives countless people into dangerous living conditions. 💸 Economic Instability: When making ends meet becomes an impossibility, not just an inconvenience. 🔄 Welfare System Challenges: When the safety net fails the vulnerable people it was designed to protect. 💔 Relationship Breakdowns: Escaping abusive relationships and needing housing for abuse survivors. 🧠 Mental Health and Substance Misuse: A dual crisis, both a cause and a consequence of not having a place to call home.
