Our President & CEO, Alfred Degrafinreid II, is connecting with Signature Program members in higher education administration at both public and private institutions. We are grateful for the leadership of the University of Tennessee System President, Randy Boyd (LT Class I), and for Dr. Agenia W. Clark (LT Class III), the President of Fisk University. #LeadershipTennessee #LeadersLeading #PurposefulDialogue #HigherEducationLeadership
I had the pleasure of hearing from two higher education leaders in Tennessee - both of whom are alumni of early Signature Program classes of Leadership Tennessee. First, I attended a welcoming reception hosted by The 100 Black Men of Middle Tennessee, Inc. for my friend, Dr. Agenia W. Clark (LT Class III), President of Fisk University. I am excited that she is at the helm of the university, and I am positive that she will do an outstanding job leading one of the nation’s oldest HBCUs and the oldest institution of higher education in Nashville, TN. Next, I attended the University of Tennessee’s State of the University Address this morning and connected with my friend, UT System President Randy Boyd (LT Class I), and the other Chancellors of the UT System schools. The chemistry between the UT leadership was authentic and it was amplified by the moderating skills of my friend and fellow Rotarian, David Plazas. Always excited to connect with LT Alumni (several pictures below). #LeadershipTennessee #LeadershipMatters #LeadersLeading #HigherEducationLeadership #ActivatedNetwork #PurposefulDialogue
