I loved being back in New York for our Spring Digital Cocktails last night. The weather held, drinks flowed, and a year's worth of zooms came to life! It was so nice catching up with many old friends and getting some newbies into the Landmark Ventures fold. Special thanks to my good friends Kate Killigrew, Josh Lustgarten and Randy Doerr for co-hosting - they always bring an amazing energy to these gatherings. TextNow is a world-class partner and I can't wait to continue our US swing this July at Wrigley Field! What a week! I'm ready for the weekend! I've had an incredible (and insane) past few days hosting old friends and new ones at Landmark Ventures VIP networking dinners spanning the digital media, marketing and e-commerce ecosystem. As I reflect on my west coast swing (three dinners in three nights in Las Vegas and LA) and on the valuable conversations, community building, and new friendships made, I wanted to share a quick recap of some of the topics/trends that emerged at the forefront of these discussions.   ⚫ The Evolving Landscape of Retail Marketing (Sunday): This dinner during Shoptalk with our friends at Quad and Rise Interactive focused on the importance of interconnected omnichannel strategies that thoughtfully bridge customer experiences in the digital and physical realms. As always, it was a pleasure co-hosting with my friends Aaron Horowitz Howard Diamond Lawrence Kennedy Marcus Lancaster and Tanya Gegare. ⚫ Unlocking Revenue – The Untapped Potential in Commerce (Monday): Hosted in Vegas with Revolv3 during Shoptalk, this unique event explored how to maximize customer retention and increase revenue through optimizing the end-to-end ecommerce experience all the way through checkout and payment. I had so much fun co-hosting for the first time with Frank Arellano Shannon Ellis Hutt and Robert Podlesni. Let's run it back! ⚫ Better Spend, Better Challenges – Navigating the Overcrowded Digital Media Ecosystem (Tuesday): This VIP dinner in Los Angeles with our good friends at TextNow dug into how to better and more cost-effectively reach fractured and multi-generational audiences across a continually expanding pool of paid, social, and influencer channels. It's always an amazing party with Kate Killigrew Josh Lustgarten and Ken Willner. Thank you, as always, to all of the incredible partners and participants that make these networking events the best part of my job – we look forward to hosting many more together!
