We had an incredible time hosting the Lancaster Chamber Mixer last Wednesday! It was wonderful to see chamber members eager to learn more about the Food Hub, our mission, and how they can get involved to serve the Lancaster community. We're so grateful for the opportunity to connect and share our work. Thank you to everyone who attended and showed their support! Together, we can make a difference. *Photo credit to Lancaster Chamber* Paige McFarling, Corinne Foster, Alexandra Schramm, Christi J. Brown, MHA

Spots are limited to 60 people so RSVP at lyp.org today! 🌈 Each guest will get a canvas to paint on with all of the supplies included, as well as drinks and snacks to enjoy. 😍 The paintings will be hung in the Food Hub intake area to ‘spread love’ to each neighbor who comes to receive services. 🍻 Sip on your favorite beverage (beer from Our Town Brewery, wine, and n/an options) while an experienced artist guides you through the process. This event is 21+ and no experience is necessary! 💝 This is a donation-based class, but you must register in advance so we have enough supplies! All donations from the event will benefit the Food Hub! Donations can be made directly to the LYP Venmo (@LYP_org) before or during the event . Lancaster County Food Hub reposted this
On this #givingtuesday2023 how about joining my family to provide basic human needs of food, clothing and shelter? We do this through Lancaster County Food Hub. (Or find the place in your neighborhood or county). https://lnkd.in/gwdq6Pra The face of food and housing insecurity is ever-changing and may be closer to home than you think: children, the elderly, those with mental illnesses, and veterans represent vast swaths of need. Please join us and give today. ❤️➡️ I also want to note what an honor it has been to serve on the FoodHub Board over these last years. As a board and staff we adapted to COVID challenges and the changing landscape of the nonprofit world to keep serving those who are often overlooked in society. Special note of gratitude to Executive Director Paige McFarling for her steadfast, intelligent leadership through thick and thin. Corinne Foster
