We’re celebrating several more individuals who retired from Kuhn North America in 2023, including Lorne Wagner, Jim Paun, Terri Makos, Dan Christianson, Ray Hennessy, Charlie Westfahl (Kuhn Krause, Inc.), and Jeff Ostenson. Lorne Wagner’s 28-year career with the Company started as one of the first Territory Managers for Knight Manufacturing outside of the Midwest. He developed a deep respect from members of the ag community, particularly in his support area of New York and Pennsylvania. Jim Paun’s 14-year career with the Company in Purchasing allowed him to work with people in many departments and help them with their component needs. Terri Makos’ 10-year career with the Company included work in both the Parts and Logistics Departments, where she always gave her best for both KUHN and the customer. Dan Christianson’s 19-year career with the Company was highlighted by his high level of machining skill and vast knowledge of the machine shop, which he regularly passed on while training new machinists. Ray Hennessey’s 22-year career with the Company began as the first Manufacturing Engineer, and he virtually started the Manufacturing Engineering Department. He enjoyed being an integral part of new product development and building additions over the years. Charlie Westfahl’s 17-year career with Kuhn Krause, Inc., as a Drafter gave him a wide variety of products to focus on, including field cultivators, vertical tillage tools, and cover crop seeders. Jeff Ostenson’s 35-year career with the Company was almost entirely in the Fabrication Department, where he saw big changes and improvements through new technologies and processes. He was one of the operators of the first lasers in the early 90s and has operated every laser commissioned at KUHN in Brodhead, Wis. Congratulations to all on your well-deserved retirements! #KUHNcommunity #Retirement
