Proud that KTA was able to host the Research Council on Structural Connections (RCSC) meeting this summer. It is always a pleasure to engage in technical discussion with our industry leaders. The tour of the Carrie Blast Furnaces National Historic Landmark was an awesome walk back in time. The remaining furnaces are extremely rare examples of pre-World War II iron-making technology, and the history is a great story of what could be described as the Silicon Valley of 1900. Thanks to all who attended and to Carly, Ryan, Jayci, and David for organizing the event!
