The Mechanical Engineering Team at Koops is responsible for designing all of the mechanical parts and assemblies that make up machines that Koops builds. The ME Team kicks off parts to multiple Central Operations teams (Machining, Fabrication, Outsourcing, and Purchasing) and all parts get entered into our ordering system. The ME kickoff is the magical moment in time when the design goes from the virtual space and into reality! Parts get ordered, steel gets cut, and the chips start flying. Year to date, the ME Team has kicked off over 74,000 manufactured parts and over 81,000 purchased parts for a total of over 155,000 parts and the year is only half over! Hats off to the Koops ME team for design productivity and the Central Ops teams for turning these parts into reality!
