This is why we love giving our Klasik Fit Coaches so much freedom ⤵️ When our Klasik Fit Coach arrived at her session yesterday, she quickly realized that her client wasn’t in the mental or physical state to attempt the typical caliber of workout they do together. Instead of just getting to it and pushing her client through the pain, she asked a simple question: Are you okay today? The response led to 30 minutes of them sitting on the floor, gently stretching along the way, talking about the client's current life circumstances and adapting a new game plan to move forward with for the coming weeks. Her client let her know that she felt better having a plan but, maybe she should just stop for the day, that maybe she just wasn’t ready for the normal workout. The Klasik Fit trainer had already seen the bikes in the garage as she came in and knew that there was a trail her client really liked down the road. So, instead of leaving or pushing her client to her breaking point in a workout, she asked: How would you like to go for a bike ride? Not only did they leave the session with a new plan, but with sunshine and laughter brought by movement that made the client feel her best on a day where she really needed it. Our job as personal trainers is to encourage consistent movement through life’s obstacles for sustainable change, and having the freedom to do so in unique ways for unique people is the best way to do so.
