Q: Why do you do what you do, and why do you choose to do it for Kish? A: "Helping clients achieve their financial dreams is incredibly gratifying to me. Knowing that I've played a part in making a positive difference in their lives is fulfilling and reinforces why I love community banking. I choose to work at Kish because I believe in its mission to make the lives of those around us better every day. When I arrived for my first day of work, the front doors flew open, and I was greeted with open arms and the warmest smile. It was at that very moment that I knew I was home. Just as Kish’s commitment to making lives better positively impacted me, I strive to create that same experience for my clients, my staff, my peers, and my community."

Last week, we had the pleasure of taking part in the Women Lead Symposium hosted by the American Bankers Association. The event focused on strategic planning, marketing, and pathways to success. We left feeling #empowered to model strong female leadership by celebrating success and advocating for others! 💪

#EmployeeSpotlight: Meet Dana! . Dana is a Compliance Analyst and is based out of the Kish Innovation Center in Reedsville. She has been with Kish for 27 years! . Q: Why do you do what you do, and why do you choose to do it for Kish? A: "I have held many positions at Kish Bank over the years, but in 2016, I was asked to help with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) Loan Application Register (LAR). Through that process, I discovered that I really liked working with the Compliance Department on the very detail-oriented job task of reporting HMDA data to the government for all our dwelling-secured loans. In 2017, I officially moved to the Compliance Department and that was the best thing I could have done! We have a small tight knit group in Compliance that works very well together, we support each other personally and professionally, and we work as a team! The support I get from this group is unmatched and makes my daily job worth it. I love what I do for Kish Bank and, after being here for over 25 years, I don’t plan on going anywhere else. Kish is a very community-oriented, small-town bank and I like the way we treat our customers—and that is one of the main reasons I choose to do what I do for Kish."
