About us

Founded in 2018 with 168 elementary students, more than 1,100 students from Greater Miami are educated and inspired today in KIPP Miami classrooms. KIPP Miami is part of the KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program) national nonprofit network of college-preparatory, public charter schools educating elementary, middle and high school students. KIPP has a 25-year track record of preparing students for success in college and life. KIPP Miami educates students in grades K-4 at KIPP Royalty Academy and grades 5-8 middle school students at KIPP Courage Academy. KIPP Miami is proud to partner with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami Dade College, Girls Inc., Black Men Build, the Urban League’s We Rise Liberty City Initiative, the Miami Marlins Foundation, and Bridge to Hope to bring additional education options to our community.     Last week, I was invited for the first time to speak at a Career Day for Elementary School students (Kindergarten-4th grade) for the North Miami location of KIPP Miami Public Schools. Two biggest takeaways: - Simplifying what I do as an Entrepreneur / Graphic Designer / Branding Expert to make sure they could understand actually presented a new challenge for me, as this was much different than talking to any day-to-day peer of mine - This was pretty nostalgic; having spent the first 14 years of my life attending school in the North Miami area and now answering many of the same questions I was asking long ago, it was a pleasent reminder to be in the moment because life goes by fast
