We’re so proud to celebrate Kausi and the InvenTABLE team! With over $1.1 million raised on Kickstarter, they’re equipping young creatives with safe, accessible STEM tools and significantly impacting communities. 💚
I can't believe it has been over a year since I graduated with my Masters in Integrated Product Design from the University of Pennsylvania! What a whirlwind! I thought it would be nice to take a moment to share about the journey so far. A year ago I decided to forego the job search and instead accept multiple part-time jobs at Penn so that I could commit as many hours as possible to my startup. I was stretched pretty thin, but wasn't sure when I would be able to pay myself through InvenTABLE and make it my only job. When we launched on Kickstarter in September and gained so much traction, things got so crazy so fast - it was the most overwhelming and most exciting period of my life so far. In December, I quit all of my part-time jobs to make InvenTABLE my only focus. We now have three full-time and four part-time employees. We found an awesome manufacturing partner in KD Product Development. I've moved out of my Philly apartment and have been living in China for the past nearly 3 months (1 more to go!) to oversee our manufacturing kick-off. I have met so many incredible people in the toy/education industry. I have learned so much in the past year about marketing, finance, design, communication, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, management, compliance, packaging, fulfillment, the list goes on. I am so grateful to my support system that allows me to feel safety in taking risks (especially my now fiancé Will Schultz), my co-founder Max Liechty, all of our advisors and supporters, and the kick-ass team that we've built at InvenTABLE. So excited for what’s to come! 📦 🚀
