Chef Alex has been a member of our Kiawah Island Golf Resort team since 2013 - working his way through the kitchen operations across many outlets, including Jasmine Porch, Sanctuary Banquets, Loggerhead Grill, In-Room Dining, The Ocean Room, and most recently as Chef de Cuisine of The Atlantic Room at The Ocean Course. We are pleased to welcome William Brent Corbett as the new Director of Golf Group Sales! Brent first joined Kiawah Island Golf Resort as a Social Sales Coordinator in March of 2013. Following a brief sojourn working in revenue at a historic downtown Charleston hotel, he returned in February 2021 as Leisure Golf Sales Supervisor. His many roles in various facets of the resort, including reservations and accounting, provide him with a unique understanding of resort operations that further enhance his experience in Golf Sales. Brent earned a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Resort Tourism Management from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC.
