Congratulations to Matthew Adams for being named a Keystone Clearwater Solutions Star Performer! Matthew is a Sr. Water Transfer Technician and has been with Keystone Clearwater Solutions since July 2022. “Matt was working the truck station. He just spotted in a transport to unload, when he heard someone yell fire. He looked over and saw that the vac pump on a transport had caught fire. Matt showed great decision making and situational awareness while he quickly responded by grabbing a fire extinguisher. Matt rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire. He then stood by to assure the fire was out. The customer’s representatives praised Matt for his quick thinking and preventing what could have been a major fire.” Holden Slocum - Operations Supervisor #keystoneclear #watermanagement #watersolutions #watertransfer #watermanagementservices #careers

Did you know that lithium, a valuable element used in rechargeable batteries, is found in abundance in produced water from Marcellus shale gas operations? “The NETL (National Energy Technology Lab) research suggests that Marcellus Shale production wastewater from the two Pennsylvania regions could meet 38–40% of current domestic lithium consumption. The research shows that Marcellus Shale produced water has the capacity to provide significant lithium yields for the foreseeable future. Currently, domestic lithium consumption is estimated at 3,000 metric tons annually.” NETL is a U.S. Department of Energy national laboratory. https://lnkd.in/gxkkgMsU #KeystoneClear #producedwater #oilandgas #Pennsylvania #recycle #reuse #lithium
