❗ Important Update for IoT Device Manufacturers and Enterprise Users! Yesterday, a high-risk security vulnerability named "regreSSHion" was disclosed. This unauthenticated remote code execution affects OpenSSH server, which grants attackers full root access without any user interaction. It impacts OpenSSH versions 4.4 and earlier and from version 8.5 up to but not including 9.8.   ✴ The Risk: This high-severity vulnerability can potentially compromise a vast number of IoT devices. Since OpenSSH is commonly used in many connected environments, this vulnerability poses serious and immediate risks.   ✳ The Solution: Keysight's firmware security analysis solution, part of the Keysight IoT Security Assessment offer, is equipped with an SBOM detection module that can identify OpenSSH and its versions swiftly and accurately.
