This project involved extensive technical tasks completed within tight deadlines. The primary focus was repairing the runway's end, necessitating a reduced threshold. This limitation affected private jet usability, decreasing airport revenue. To address this, the project implemented a 21-day closure for one section and a 45-day closure for another, both requiring 7-day-a-week work, with a $15,000 Liquidated Damages penalty for delays. Despite these challenges, we successfully completed both closures on time. Additionally, the project included rerouting a stream by installing an 8ft tall, 16ft wide, 505ft long multiplate culvert, which involved using over 43,000 nuts and bolts.
