the future of grab & go hydration. beverage vending stations without the single-use waste.

About us

We’re Kadeya—the future of hydration featuring high quality drinks with low environmental impact that help everyone thrive. Since we’re all just very literally bodies of water, being dehydrated by 4% of your body mass can reduce your response time by nearly 25%. So whether you’re at a building site or in the boardroom, staying hydrated makes you feel better and perform better too. To help you do just that, we’re proud to operate the only network of low waste vending stations serving a selection of purified water, carbonated, flavored, and branded drinks in infinite bottles that could never end up in landfill. We’ve created bottled water for the future, making it ... Safer: To lower the carbon output, we source water locally instead of shipping it, and purify it with an advanced filtration process. Our water quality beats market standards—and we like to keep things transparent by sharing that data with you. Healthier: Along with clean water, we then create flavored and carbonated drinks free from microplastics, because our infinite bottles are made from glass or stainless steel. You can also optimize your hydration with the Kadeya app, to make sure you’re always at your best. By rethinking the bottled water supply chain entirely, we’ve created a circular system that makes a positive impact for both you and the planet with every sip, gulp and swig.

Did you know that dehydration can lead to a 10-12% decrease in productivity? (EHS Today) Productivity loss due to hot, humid days accounted for 650 billion lost labor hours (in 2017), projected to cost $4 trillion globally by 2030. Decreased output and efficiency due to dehydration can significantly affect the bottom line, especially during heat waves when productivity can drop to 50%. Workers exposed to heat stress see significant drops in both cognitive and physical capabilities. It’s not just about keeping a bottle of water handy. Workers need easy access to cool, clean water throughout their shift to stay safe, healthy, and feeling their best. Kadeya's hydration solution aligns workers with corporate safety and sustainability goals, generating never-before-seen consumption data so workers have the tools they need to stay on top of their hydration and health. #Kadeya #Sustainability #WorkerWellness #Hydration #Productivity #Innovation #EHS #HeatStress #WorkplaceSafety #PlasticFree

We recently conducted in-field consumer insights research on the hydration habits of construction workers, and the findings were eye-opening. 🔍 Key Insights: - Average Consumption: We spoke with 50 workers who self-report drinking an average of 3.9 bottles (approximately 65.91 fl oz) of water daily, along with 1.1 bottles (18.59 fl oz) of flavored drinks. - OSHA Recommendations: For context, OSHA advises workers to drink 1 cup (8 ounces) of water every 15-20 minutes in the heat. This amounts to about 32 ounces per hour but should not exceed 48 ounces per hour to avoid water intoxication. Over an 8-hour day, this could total 256 ounces. - Comparison to General Population: A CDC study from 2015–2018 reported that US adults drink an average of 44 ounces of water daily. 🧠 Observations: - Health Awareness: Construction workers are highly aware of the need to avoid sugary drinks, focusing on increasing their water intake. - Personal Hydration Goals: Many workers have personal hydration goals but achieve them in inconvenient ways, such as carrying around a liter jug picked up from the gas station on their way to work. - Source of Beverages: Most construction workers bring their beverages from offsite sources, with the majority bringing them from home (31.6%) or stopping at the gas station on their way to work (26.3%). 🚧 Implications for Employers: For workplaces aiming to enhance worker hydration, job site attractiveness, and overall well-being, offering onsite hydration options is a low-lift solution that can significantly increase productivity and worker satisfaction. Let’s keep our hardworking crews hydrated and healthy! 💧 #Kadeya #WorkerHealth #Hydration #WorkerSafety #SafetyFirst #JobSiteAttractiveness #WorkerWellbeing #ConsumerInsights
