#Paris2024 is almost here, and excitement is building! Athletes have trained their entire lives for this pinnacle competition, and some have overcome significant adversity to shine in their sport. At least 15 Paralympians have competed in the #Olympic games, and 4,400 are slated to represent 160 countries in 549 medal events across 22 sports in the 2024 #Paralympic Games. It’s estimated that about half of Paralympians use high-tech prosthetics in competition, be it running blades, jumping blades, or the patented ProCarve dampened knee and foot system for sophisticated mobility needs. These assistive technologies quite literally propel Para athletes to victory – and they’re only getting better as production using combinations of additive manufacturing and injection molding continue to advance.
