We are thrilled to announce KKSW’s continued expansion with the addition of Partners Elizabeth Jaikaran (“Liz”), who will be a member of our Real Estate Transactions Group and Robin Mahapatra, who will lead our newly formed Tax Department. Additionally, Sindhoo Nackeeran has been promoted to Senior Counsel and, as previously announced, effective as of January 1, 2024, Jacqueline McGregor was promoted to Partner so please see the “Announcements” page on our website (https://lnkd.in/gmXnw5wv) for more information. KKSW now has 13 transactional attorneys and 2 litigators. Liz joins us from the world-renowned law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Liz, who is New York barred, becomes KKSW’s second New York based attorney and will work on real estate transactions throughout the country as KKSW enhances its national real estate practice. John Karavas, KKSW’s Managing Partner said, “We are honored to have Liz join KKSW as a Partner. Liz has a tremendous resume and, in addition to being an exceptional attorney, is a great mentor and business developer (as she has also already successfully expanded our diverse and sophisticated client-base).” Robin Mahapatra is an experienced tax attorney specializing in joint ventures, property tax issues and corporate transactions. Robin is KKSW’s 7th Allen Matkins alum and has worked seamlessly with KKSW’s clients and attorneys for the last 6-7 years. John Karavas said “Robin’s addition is in line with the Firm’s focus on providing high-level counsel and advice with respect to all aspects of all real estate transactions.
