The Kalamazoo Veterans Events Committee is asking for nominations for the 2024 Kalamazoo County Veteran of the Year Award. This award honors a local veteran whose contributions to both veterans and the broader community go above and beyond and deserve special recognition for their continued service and years in uniform. The nomination deadline is Sept. 20, 2024. The nominee will be announced and presented at the Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. at the Robert L.
