    Crushing Your Virtual Job Interview (Without Crushing Your Wi-Fi) Virtual job interviews can be tricky, but with these tips, you'll be the star of the screen (no buffering, we promise): Test Your Tech: Ensure your camera, microphone, and internet connection are working. Log in early to avoid that "frozen mid-sentence" look. Bonus points if you don't have to yell, "Can you hear me now?" Professional Setting: Choose a quiet, well-lit space with a clean background. No one wants to see your laundry mountain or your cat photobombing (unless your cat is really cute, then maybe). Dress for Success: Wear professional attire from head to toe. Yes, pants too. You never know when you'll need to stand up, and surprise pajama appearances are rarely appreciated. Preparation: Research the company and role thoroughly.
