JUV was founded in 2016 by teenagers with this idea of what the world could look like if more diverse young people had a seat at the table. And today, we are thrilled to take our seat at one of the most impactful tables in the world – by announcing that United Talent Agency (UTA) has acquired JUV Consulting, forming UTA Entertainment Marketing’s Next Gen practice, under the leadership of Julian Jacobs and David Anderson.   This partnership is a phenomenal fit as UTA shares our conviction in the capacity for creators, content, and community to shape culture. We are excited to bring our perspective to a company that is at the epicenter of creative innovation, creating unprecedented capabilities that marry our Gen Z services with their unrivaled access to the zeitgeist. UTA Entertainment and Culture Marketing has reimagined what brand storytelling looks like and we cannot wait to add to that story with fresh insight, impact, and inspiration. We are bringing over the majority of our full-time team and will continue to leverage our Gen Z network for our clients. It was tremendously important to us as we navigated this process to arrive at an outcome that benefited our community as much as possible and we are really proud to have found a conclusion that does just that. We will also be ensuring our partners continue to receive the same quality of service from us, which will only be enriched by UTA’s forward-thinking platform. We are also, of course, carrying forward our big plans for ZCON, our thought leadership, and our vision for what phygital-first, community-first, culture-first marketing looks like in 2024. Last night, our CEO, Ziad Ahmed and our Senior Director of Influencer Marketing, Arianna Williams proudly accepted on behalf of JUV Consulting, the Shorty Impact Awards for Diverse-Owned Businesses Campaign for our work on the #AdaptedForMe Campaign. JUV and JanSport, a VF Company teamed up for the #AdaptedForMe campaign to launch their new Adaptive packs and build relationships with a community that has been underserved when it comes to versatility and adaptability for carry solutions. Too often are the experiences of young person’s with disabilities overlooked, undervalued, and dismissed. It is our responsibility to write a future filled with accessibility, understanding, learning, and compassion in order to empower this community to take pride in their uniqueness. When JUV Consulting was created in 2016, we set out with a simple mission — to work alongside brands to create purpose driven marketing that made young people feel seen. As young people ourselves, we understood the dire need for meaningful representation across race, gender, sexual orientation, body diversity, etc. Everyday that we as a company continue with this mission is a day well spent. We recognize the greatness of our work no matter how big or how small. We dedicate this award to the countless Gen Z’ers who have been told that they are too different, that their ideas are too bold or dreams too big.
