Care for, and keep, your people.

About us

We partner with organizations to give their moms, dads and caregivers the tools to integrate the care of themselves, their families, and their work through group coaching. Our certified coaches lead groups of similarly-situated parents and caregivers through a 12-week program, and a year of dedicated support. These groups act as personal Boards, providing connection, inspiration, and accountability. Rooted in the science of behavior change, our curriculum gives members the tools to find fulfillment across all the dimensions of their life. If you're an organization looking to build a better working world for parents and caregivers, we'll help you: - Track caregiver status - Track & measure DEIB - Create micro-communities that foster belonging & connection - Identify which niche benefits your caregiver employees need most - Identify what changes can be made to attract & retain talented employees who are caregivers & parents Let's grow forward together. Keep in touch: hello@keep-company.com ... From our members: "This was one of the best experiences of my personal and professional life. I left each meeting feeling grateful to be part of such a strong and supportive group. I would recommend it to every working mom I know." - Katie "It’s a lot for me to give up 1.5 hours in the middle of my workday, but every minute was worth it." - Purvi "I feel more empowered to prioritize what I feel I want and need for my personal (mental, physical, emotional) well-being, and I feel less guilty when I take time to invest in myself. I feel happier overall, and so grateful to have been able to develop deeper connections with the members in my group." - Tricia "I genuinely looked forward to each meeting and gained invaluable information. I also feel much more connected to my job and firm and more secure in my choice to work at this firm. I feel like I can be a working parent here.” - Alex

📊 In a recent poll, 65% of Gen Z employees reported struggling to make conversation with colleagues at work. 41% of business leaders agree, concluding that Gen Z graduates lack essential interpersonal skills to succeed in the workforce. Every day at Keep Company, we see the relationship between "soft skills" and performance. Poor communication skills, a lack of self-awareness, and other relational skills lead to misunderstandings at work, impacting not just culture but performance. 🔗 Where do we go from here? At Keep Company, we think a lot about the ways in which identity impacts how we show up – in our communities and our careers. Our Co-Founder and COO, Claudia Naim-Burt, recently sat down with Pam Covarrubias from Café con Pam to talk about her own bi-cultural identity, motherhood, and the skills we need to fully step into the future of work. ☕️🎧 Grab your coffee and listen in: https://zurl.co/4Z0d

⚖️ 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘄 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀? Here’s what mom, Morrison Foerster partner, and Keep company member Whitney OByrne shared: “As a first-time mother of an 8-month-old, I am learning to readjust to our new normal. There are three things that have helped me as I transition back to work after parental leave. First, take advantage of all the resources available to you. MoFo has an amazing Parents & Caregivers Affinity Network and offers a year-long group coaching program for caregivers called ‘Keep Company.’ The program, led by certified coaches, brings together similarly situated attorneys and helps them navigate demands at work and at home. Both have helped me immensely, especially during my first few weeks back." 🔗 Check out Whitney’s two other tips, along with ideas from other partners, here: https://zurl.co/fWD5 #KeepThe73 #WorkLifeBalance #LawFirm

⚖️ The journey through law school and the lead-up to the July bar exams can be incredibly stressful for aspiring attorneys. As recent reports have shared, many of the legal profession's mental health problems start long before attorneys even begin practicing law: https://zurl.co/zfnh So, if you're a recent law school graduate preparing for an upcoming bar exam, then it's absolutely essential that you maintain your mental health during this intense study period. And here are some tips to help: 📅 Stay Organized: Break your study schedule into manageable chunks. 🧘 Take Breaks: Regular breaks can improve focus and reduce burnout. 🤝 Seek Support: Talk to peers, mentors, or a counselor. 🛌 Practice Self-Care: Make time for activities you enjoy and ensure you get enough sleep. We might live in a society or work in a profession that constantly drives us to seek gold stars, but at Keep Company, we believe embracing imperfection is one of the keys to personal and professional growth. 🌟 💯 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗽: Perfectionism can lead to burnout, anxiety, and decreased productivity. When we set unrealistically high standards for ourselves, we end up feeling disappointed and overwhelmed. 🎨 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Instead of aiming for perfection, focus on progress. Celebrate small wins and learn from mistakes. This mindset shift can boost your resilience and creativity. 👌 𝗕𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳: Self-compassion is your ally. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would offer a friend. Let's redefine success together by striving for progress over perfection, and by building a healthier, more sustainable approach to achieving our goals. #KeepThe73

💡 Do you know what the most unexpected, career-critical skill in law today is? As Bloomberg Law recently shared, CREATIVITY tops that list — but it's only one of four interconnected skills that attorneys need to practice in order to unlock their professional potential: 🔍 Be Curious: Make time to learn new things, whether it’s picking up a new hobby to spark your creativity or listening to talks by other attorneys to gain fresh perspectives. (Curiosity is a super skill and one of our favorite to share with Keep Company members.) 🛍️ Be a Customer: Whether you’re applying for an in-house counsel role or courting a new corporate client, set yourself apart by understanding that particular company's customer experience. 🎨 Be Creative: Don’t be afraid to think outside the box for your professional advancement. Frame your experiences and skills in a different way to better align with the needs of a prospective employer or client. 🔄 Be Persistent: Making professional leaps in law often comes with the risk of rejection. Instead of getting discouraged, let rejection drive you to think creatively and approach the challenge from a new perspective. 🔗 Want to check out the full Bloomberg Law article?
