At the WBENC conference the Corporate Partners not only asked how potential diverse suppliers can help them meet their ESG goals 🎯 , but also how we prioritize sustainability in our own companies. JKC is all about the "S" goals (social sustainability)✅, providing scalable workplace wellness strategies and human-centered solutions for all levels of an organization. For vendors, whenever possible, we seek out woman and/or minority-owned businesses. One of our 💥goals for 2024💥 is to have our entire core "B.A.I.L. team" (Banker, Accountant, Insurance, Legal) be women and/or minority-owned businesses, especially from the LGBTQ+ community🏳️🌈. Women business leaders juggle SO much to show up as their best selves in the face of challenge. I'm an extrovert who loves to connect with people, and even for me, a WBENC conference with 5000 attendees can be overload! 🙄 I strive for quality, not quantity, and having authentic conversations 💫 . In order for me to show up my best self--calm, grounded and fully present, I must take care of my nervous system and stay in tune with how I'm feeling in my body. That has meant slowing my pace, revising expectations (who's in charge, anyway?!😅), taking breaks when I need it, fresh air and deep breaths between action, and smiling often! 😊 How do you regulate yourself when you need to show up for a challenge? How do you stay authentic?
