Tracing our roots to 1987, Jackson Hotel Management is a family-owned third-party hotel management company. JHM takes great pride in our history of successfully operating hotels, golf courses, and restaurants. We focus on the following four pillars of hospitality operations; comprehensive hospitality management, development, renovation & PIP, and distressed hotel / short-term management. Comprehensive Hospitality Management: We pride ourselves on our experience, expertise, and collaborative approach. JHM provides a full range of comprehensive hospitality management services that includes all phases of operating a hotel; including, but not limited to, guest services, brand relationships, expense control, facility management, sales & marketing, revenue management, food & beverage, and talent development. Development: Our leadership has exceptional experience and established results in new hotel development and the development of associated hospitality properties. Our current focus is on quality select service hotels in the Mid-Atlantic, but we can help across a broad range of hotel classes, property sizes, and geographic markets. Renovation & PIP: We will take the lead throughout your next renovation or PIP; including consultation with ownership, interviewing and hiring the required hospitality design and construction professionals, financing, permitting, bonding, insurance, and working with the municipalities and brands. Distressed Hotel & Short-term Management: We have long been known for our success in the repositioning of distressed properties for trusts and institutional lenders. Our expertise in this field provides our clients with peace of mind to focus on their day-to-day tasks and responsibilities; knowing that our team will manage all operations of the facility, increase asset value, and provide positive results.

    It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles E. "Chuck" Simon. Chuck passed away on July 1, 2024, in The Villages, Florida. He was a native of Rochester, NY. Chuck was a former Vice President of Operations and General Manager at Jackson Hotel Management. He held both a Master's and an Undergraduate degree in Hospitality Administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where he also participated in Varsity Soccer and Varsity Hockey. Throughout his illustrious career, Chuck served as the General Manager of several Sheraton Hotels in Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, Ocean City, MD, Charlotte, and Tallahassee. He was also the President of The Virginia Hotel & Motel Association and played a key role in uniting four industry associations to form the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association (VRLTA). Chuck was highly regarded as an intelligent hotel operator and was generous with his counsel to many he met along his long career. His legacy of leadership, mentorship, and dedication to the hospitality industry will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. "Chuck and I shared over 40 years of professional collaboration and personal friendship. His wisdom, generosity, and unwavering dedication to excellence were cornerstones of our work together. Chuck will be profoundly missed, both as a cherished friend and a respected colleague. "This was an overnight stop as I was driving from Rhode Island to North Carolina. After being on the road for over 10 hours with my dog, I was more than pleased with the quality of the room and very comfy bed. The water pressure in the shower was great too. Another great thing was the parking. I was driving a U-Haul truck and towing my car on a trailer. There was plenty of space and was easy to be able to pull thru without having to back up. This place felt safe and an added bonus was the breakfast. If you are passing through, this is a great stop."
