Tech-forward, people-first identity & cyber protection for your customers
About us
At Iris® Powered by Generali, it’s not really about us. It’s about how identity theft and cybercrime have become a reality for too many. It’s about making a person feel whole again, when despite their best efforts, they’ve still become a victim. It’s about understanding that many companies do what we do – just not like we do. Iris is a B2B2C global identity and cyber protection company owned by the 190-year-old multinational insurance company, Generali, offering always-available identity resolution experts (yes, real people available 24/7/365) and tech-forward solutions that uncomplicate the protection process. We opened our first Washington, DC office in 1982 with a simple mission, bringing customers from distress to relief – anytime, anywhere – and went on to become one of the very first identity theft resolution providers in the U.S. in 2004. Today, understanding that victimization has no geographical boundaries, we’ve got a solution no matter what your customers’ coordinates are.

#BreachAlert 🚨 According to AT&T, the stolen customer records were illegally downloaded from a third-party workspace platform, Snowflake. The platform has also been mentioned in multiple recent breaches, such as Advanced Auto Parts, Ticketmaster, LendingTree, Neiman Marcus, etc. Data security is crucial. Brands of all types have a major responsibility to protect their customers' data and ensure third-party vendors do the same. If not, companies can anticipate additional fines and reputational damage. #BreachAlert! 🛑 ⚠️ AT&T has confirmed a data breach that exposed the phone records of "nearly all" of its customers, about 109 million customer accounts. What you need to know: 🔵 The compromised data includes the telephone numbers of nearly all of its cellular and landline customers between May 2022 and October 2022. 🔵 The stolen logs also contain a record of every number customers' called or texted – including customers of other wireless networks – the number of times they interacted, and the call duration. 🔵 For an undisclosed subset of AT&T's records, one or more cell site identification numbers linked to the calls and texts were also exposed. 🔵 AT&T says the hacked data did not include the content of calls and text messages, customer names, or personal information such as Social Security numbers. If you believe you have been affected by this #breach, Iris Powered by Generali recommends you take action now to protect yourself. Change your phone passcode and PIN to your AT&T account, and review your AT&T account for any suspicious activity or unauthorized changes. While it's tempting to reuse passwords and passcodes for various accounts, we do not recommend recycling passwords or using the same code across multiple accounts. Hackers often piece together stolen information from other breached data to help them breach other accounts, so be sure to change your passwords regularly and stay alert to phishing attempts. https://cnn.it/3LntnJU #DataBreach #Cybersecurity #IrisIDProtect #Data #News
