Wow! Check out this empowering story! Kettering City Schools students Lola and Neil threw the first pitch at the Dayton Dragons Professional Baseball Team game last Friday! ⚾️💚 Lola is an inventor who is currently participating in the OIL Ohio Invention Convention 2023-2024 program year! Lola invented "Neil's Green Machine," a throwing device. Lola was inspired by her friend and classmate Neil, who loves baseball (and the color green), but struggled to throw due to his disability. Thanks to "Neil's Green Machine," Neil and Lola were able to throw the first pitch during Friday's game at Day Air Ballpark! Way to go Lola and Neil! ⚾️💚🎉 Check out the photos from the game below!
