Today, June 28, 2024, the Supreme Court's ruling permits municipalities to criminalize homelessness by prohibiting outdoor sleeping, even with basic items like pillows and blankets. This decision poses a significant setback for the individuals we serve, potentially enabling local laws that further marginalize unhoused populations. ISBH vehemently opposes such measures. At ISBH, we firmly believe that housing is healthcare and homelessness is not a crime. Despite the disappointing implications of this ruling, we remain committed to advocating for policies that prioritize housing solutions and uphold the dignity and rights of individuals experiencing homelessness. #HousingIsHealthcare #Dignity

June 22, 2024 A few of our ISBH team members stepped back into the 80s to support our essential community partner, Square One, at their 80s-themed annual fundraiser. We had a blast embracing the retro vibes while supporting Square One, a domestic violence shelter providing critical support and resources for individuals throughout Gallia, Jackson, and Meigs counties. #ReadySetGlow

We are seeking a Peer Recovery Supporter to join our Ross County & Jackson County Teams. We are looking for certified peer supporters or people who are in long-term recovery from a substance use disorder or substance use with mental health, who are eligible to work toward becoming a certified peer supporter. Celebrating Our Team at ISBH's Annual Appreciation Picnic! We had an incredible turnout at our annual team appreciation picnic, held at the Ross County Fairgrounds, with nearly 1000 team members, their families, and friends joining in the festivities. The day was filled with joy, laughter, and a strong sense of community as we celebrated the hard work and dedication of our amazing team. We were honored to have Representatives Mark Johnson and Senator JD Vance's aide, Kelli Johnson, attend and show their support.
