Meet our Medical Director! Dr. Nate Somers is a native of Western Massachusetts and completed his undergraduate degree in Anthropology at Dartmouth College. He received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and completed his residency and fellowship training in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UMass Worcester as well. Dr. Somers has over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults with mental health disorders in outpatient, residential, and inpatient settings and has held several medical leadership positions in the Pioneer Valley since completion of his training. Dr. Somers has four children and lives in West Springfield with his partner Althea, a local psychotherapist, and their three dogs. He enjoys running, playing guitar, skiing, and hiking. https://lnkd.in/egKyK3TE
